1. Pray for their salvation

Brothers, the wish of my heart and my prayer to God for them is that they be saved.

2. Pray that they love the Word of God

How will the young man make his path pure By following his word? I seek you with all my heart : Do not let me go astray from your commandments !

3. Pray for their place in the Church

Let us not abandon our assembly, as is the custom of some ; but let us exhort each other, especially when you see the day approaching.

4. Pray for their discernment

Do not conform to the present age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that you discern what is the will of God, which is good, pleasant and perfect.

5. Pray for good counselors

Be my imitators, as I am myself of Christ.

6. Pray for them to stand up to temptations

No temptation has come to you that has not been human, and God, who is faithful, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength; but with temptation he will also prepare the way out, so that you can bear it.

7. Pray for them to have Christian friends

He who has many friends has them for his misfortune, but he is such friend more attached than a brother.

8. Pray for healthy relationships

Flee the passions of youth, and seek justice, faith, charity, peace, with those who invoke the Lord with a pure heart.

9. Pray for their identity in Christ

You are the light of the world. A city on a mountain can not be hidden ; and we do not light a lamp to put it under the bushel, but we put it on the candlestick, and it lights all those who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

10. Pray that they will persevere in the trials

But you, be sober in all things, endure sufferings, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry well.

11. Pray for them to have wisdom

You will thus acquire grace and a sound reason, in the eyes of God and of men. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your wisdom ;
