This is an important question that I sometimes ask myself. I give the answer to God sometimes crying. It is not normal that the souls gained (actual and lasting conversions) by our personal witness are fewer than the number of years since our salvation.

How many souls have you earned this year ? How much have you earned since your conversion ? God has given us his Love, his Spirit, his Word and his power for this work.

- I brought ................... soul (s) to the Lord this year.

- I have brought ................... soul (s) to the Lord since my conversion.

- I want to bring .................... soul (s) to the Lord in this new year.

The result and the answer to this question may lead us to become discouraged, or to feel guilty, but to make us feel guilty will not change anything, we simply need to obey and advance in faith, arming ourselves with courage. To ask this question pushes us to go further and to humble ourselves before God. It drives us to seek God, to re-focus ourselves, and to motivate ourselves to love, inspiration, passion, fervor and zeal.

We live in an alarming time when many Christians live very well without worrying deeply about souls. It must change, and if we have souls at heart, sooner or later people will begin to be saved around us. Charles Finney said that if we use the right means to win souls, we will get results. More than that, the Bible says that the wise man seizes souls.

The souls I brought to the Lord have been a great joy in my life. This is the greatest gift that can be made to me : to see a soul be saved. I pray that in this new year you will be able to enjoy the joy of bringing many people to Jesus.
