It is impossible to live a pure life until we have a pure heart. Nowadays, many people try to put the cart before the horse. They teach the purity of motives, desires and actions to old misleading hearts ! No wonder we ended up with such moral failures, despite our vaunted psychological knowledge and insights.

Motives, desires, and pure actions flow from pure hearts. Pure hearts will be like Christ. It is the desire of God that we conform to the image of his Son. If Christ lives in us and our bodies become the home of the Holy Spirit, is it surprising that we are like him ?

Prayer for the day

Purify my heart and make it the house of Your Spirit, Lord.
