A call for you !

Matthew 3.3 - John is the one the prophet Isaiah spoke of when he said : "A man cried in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight paths for him !".

This passage speaks of John the Baptist who prepared the nation of Israel for the arrival of the Messiah Jesus Christ. John the Baptist, with his pointed speech, brought many people to repentance and prepared hearts to receive God's salvation. Jesus told us that before his return, times would be very difficult. Believers will be estranged from the faith, attached to human traditions, confessing a Lord they do not know. Because of the progression of sin, the love of many will grow cold, men will be selfish and evil, as in the days of Noah.

What I want to remember is that our society has become like that. God challenges us by saying : “You can hasten the return of my Son by becoming a John the Baptist for your generation !". We can begin to cry out in the desert of our cities the call to repentance. We can prophesy over the bones the return of life like Ezekiel. We can return to the powerful message of the cross of Jesus, which saves, which frees from sin and which delivers from the curse.

Do not believe that "shouting" in this way is a lack of love, on the contrary, it is God's passion for the lost, whether they are atheists or nominal Christians, which animates these servants of God. Do you want to participate in this rising cry ? Dedicate your life to God ! Yes you need more than you live now, listen to the voice of the fire rising within you, it is the Holy Spirit speaking to you.
