A great joy. Learning to be wise

The two happiest days in every believer's life are : the day he believes in the Lord and the day when, for the first time, he leads another person to Christ. The first is, it must be said, a particularly happy day. However, the joy of bringing someone to the Lord for the first time may well be greater than the day of his own salvation.

Many Christians do not experience much joy because they do not speak much for the Lord ; they never led anyone to the Lord.

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the wise man wins souls" (Proverbs 11:30).

From the very beginning of our Christian life, we should learn to gain souls by various means. We should learn to be wise. This will make us useful people to the Church.

I am not talking about preaching an evangelical message from the pulpit. This type of preaching can never replace the personal work of someone who leads others to the Lord. A person who only knows how to preach in pulpit may not know how to lead another person to the Lord.

We do not exhort you to give a message from the pulpit. We ask you to save men. Many people are good preachers, but do not know how to save men. They do not know what to do when someone is brought to them. They are of little use. Those who are really useful are those who can lead men to Christ individually.
