A living presence

Light to enlighten the nations and glory of Israel, your people. Luke 2:32

If we could look through powerful telescopes or listen to electronic soundings, we could hear and see the metallic stars that Russia and America have put in space in recent years. None of these synthetic stars brought peace to the world. But the star of God promised peace to the whole world, if man could believe and trust.

Too often, man's synthetic stars arouse fear and anxiety. Our paradise filled with gadgets, suspended in a hell of international insecurity, certainly does not offer us the happiness dreamed of last century.

But there is still a star in the sky. There is another song in the air. And Jesus Christ is alive. He is with us, a living presence, to overcome despair, to give hope, to forgive sins, to take away our solitude and to reconcile ourselves to God.

Your peace reaches all those who love you and trust you, living Lord Jesus. Beloved Savior, I praise your holy name !
