A message of love to all families

A message of love to all families

"I was born in 1931 in Paris into a Jewish family. In 1942, we were able to take refuge in Switzerland. My father sent me to Christian peasants near Lake Neuchâtel. What a surprise to learn from them that Jesus is the light promised by God to save the nations and my people Israel !

In 1954 I fell seriously ill. I was aware that this ordeal was permitted by God so that I could take stock of my life and listen to him alone. I remembered my meetings with the Christians of my childhood : their life was righteous and luminous. On my hospital bed, I invoked Christ. I vowed to belong to him, to serve him if he could break the physical and moral chains that bound me to evil and death. And he did ! I understood that forgiveness and justice are not obtained by the scrupulous fulfillment of the commandments but by faith in the Messiah, Jesus, who gave his life for us.

The texts of the Old Testament which evoke the Messiah convinced me that Jesus was indeed the one in whom the promises made by God to our father Abraham are fulfilled : "All the families of the earth will be blessed in you" (Genesis 12.3).

Message of love for our parents and our friends, for all the Jewish people as well as for all the families and nations of the earth."
