A need for God

Indeed, God wanted to make known to them the glorious richness of this mystery among the non-Jews, that is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

The age-old question "Can man save himself or does he need God ?" As long as the world continues, people will build Babel towers, shape their cut images, and invent their own ideologies. Now, as in all periods of history, people think they can get by without God.

Economically, they can manage ; intellectually, they can manage ; socially, they can fend for themselves. But beneath the surface of the rational man is a void, a void that can only be filled by Jesus Christ. The most amazing fact of all history is that the great and almighty God of heaven can live in your heart. It does not make any difference who you are.

Prayer for the day

You fill the emptiness and the burning desire of my soul. I need the presence of your spirit, dear Lord.
