A perverse generation (continued)

What would you do if you knew that your neighbor was a murderer ? Would you let your kids play quietly at home ? I do not think so, I think rather that you would be advised and that you would act with wisdom and prudence. My wife Annabelle has already said to me : "You imagine that we have certainly already met a murderer !". Certainly ! Jesus warned his disciples, saying : "Behold, I send you sheep in the midst of wolves. Be as careful as serpents and pure as doves" (Matthew 10:16). If we are his disciples, we should also be wise about the people of this world. By prudence, but also by vision and love, in order to bring them to salvation with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Pornography is a real scourge. 12% of the websites that exist in the world are pornographic sites. 25% of searches in search engines are about sex, which is 68 million queries per day. 35% of downloads are pornographic. This is the case for 8% of emails, or 2.5 billion per day. In the United States alone, 40 million adults claim to regularly visit pornographic sites. As my wife said, we have certainly met a murderer. I would add that we certainly clutched many hands that used pornography...

If nearly 40% of people "consume" pornography, it's because 40% of the people we meet every day do it. 40% of the people we meet everyday would be perverts. Does God close his eyes to this reality, or does God have a message for them ? He has one ! "Repent and convert, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19). Jesus will say : "Every man who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). God wants to forgive this evil. We must preach the gospel.
