A place in paradise

We have an edifice in heaven which is the work of God, an eternal dwelling which is not made by the hand of man. 2 Corinthians 5.1

In 1960, Leonora Da Silva, a famous clairvoyant from Rio de Janeiro, began selling apartments to wealthy clients... in paradise ! Thanks to the credulity of these religious people, she amassed a nice jackpot. But after three years of deception, her housekeeper denounces her. In court, Leonora stands up to the judges, claiming sincere faith. She leaves acquitted, and her clients reassured about their "real estate investment". But, cautious, she will retire as a clairvoyant...

Can we buy a place in paradise ? No, neither money, nor a man, nor good works will open the door to eternal bliss for us. Only Jesus can. He said to his disciples : Believe in God believe in me also. There are many mansions in my Father's house. If it wasn't, I would have told you. I'll make you a place. And since I am going to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you with me so that, where I am, you may also be there (John 14:1-3).

Jesus’s disciples are sure to have a place with him in heaven. There is no price to pay other than giving up a self-centered life. Not easy ! But knowing peace in your eternal future is priceless !
