A simple "drop of blood" !

"He is like a tree (...) whose foliage does not wither : Everything he does is successful." Psalm 1.3

Do you know this plant, which is called "blood drop" ? It is a very beautiful plant that gives pretty red flowers. When it lacks water, its leaves wilt. It is a sign that it is time to water it. So, as soon as we water it, in a few hours, the leaves recover their texture. The branches rise, life returns, and new flowers soon appear.

There is hope, a future, a hope ... A "drop of blood" from Jesus and everything is erased, renewed and regenerated! Does your life seem faded ?

Here is what, in the past, has helped to wilt my spiritual life ...

The negative words : that I let myself settle in me and define myself, instead of worrying more about the opinion that God has of me.

Lack of relationship with God : when I was "too busy to pray".

The bad choices : when I made decisions, without consulting the Lord.

Disobedience to God : when I succumbed to temptation and saddened the Holy Spirit.

However, there is good news : you do not have to stay shriveled. A solution exists and it is not guilt. On the contrary, there is a hope, a future, a hope ... A "drop of blood" from Jesus and everything is erased, renewed and regenerated !

It is even more than that : in Jesus, not only is everything renewed, but, moreover, everything you do succeeds.

Other versions of this passage say :

And in all that he does, he will succeed. (Webster's Bible) : This is a promise for your future. Follow the advice of God and you will succeed !

Everything he has undertaken, he succeeds. (Living Word) : There are new things to undertake and to succeed. Enter, go ahead. God wants your success. Let it inspire you on what you need to undertake.

Everything this man does is successful. (Current French) : As you go into action and act, God puts his hand over yours. It makes your business succeed.

Everything he does will prosper. (Martin) : There is an increase, a development, a prosperity that comes from above. Stick to that promise. Declare it on your life !

A prayer for today

Lord Jesus, thank you because your blood is powerful enough to erase my sins, but also to renew me! It is powerful enough to give me success too! In your name Jesus, I declare that all that I do succeeds for your only glory !
