A simple message for a child

There is power when we announce the Word of God, and hearts do not remain insensitive. However, we have to understand that we are talking to babies in a way, people who do not really understand our speeches. We sometimes embark on long speeches, whereas we would have had to speak simply. When they want to plant a nail, some will tap 15 times around before pushing it, while it would be enough in one fell swoop.

We must show, in the simplest way possible, that Jesus, who was innocent of all sin, was condemned as a sinner in our place so that we are righteous in the sight of God. Jesus took our place ! We can use images, like a black paste that covers us, that God has taken to cover Jesus. In exchange, the innocent heart of Jesus, God put it in us. This dough of sin made God condemn Jesus for us, and because of this divine righteousness we were justified.

We must show them that this action of God is automatic : if we fulfill the conditions, then this action of justice works automatically. It's like a light : if you press the switch, the light will always come on. For this action of justice to be manifested, we must recognize this mud on us, that sin which has covered us and by which God sees us as condemned. And then we must come to Jesus, otherwise we are condemned to eternal death, forever removed from the presence of God.

It is a process of divine justice : we are guilty and Jesus innocent ; we become innocent, and he, guilty. It is a spiritual law : if we recognize our guilt and the innocence of Jesus, if we believe that he has taken our place as guilty, and we come to God for salvation, then this process of justice comes into moment, and we are recognized as innocent. It is then that our heart takes on the innocence, and that the sin that was in us and that separated us from God goes away forever. It is the innocent who pays for the culprit.
