A simple thank you !

Proverbs 27.2 - Let another praise you, and not your mouth, a stranger, and not your lips.

Pride is a nasty feeling which, if we are not careful, easily reaches our hearts. Therefore, we must remain cautious. However, all too often this caution is directed at others and not at ourselves. Indeed, Christendom has difficulty honoring a person, to compliment, it's true you never know... that person could be proud ! On the other hand, if they could give me compliments, congratulations, me, I would be humble enough so that it does not take me "cabbage" ! Besides, it is God who does !

While it is true that it is God who does, the fact remains that God chose men and women to collaborate with Him and to manifest His glory. There are people who, day after day, give of their person, sometimes even anonymously, to take care of... There are men and women who tirelessly bless, console, listen, share... It is God who acts through them but they have accepted to stand up and say yes to the Lord ! The Word of God encourages us to say thank you, to tell them that what they do bless us, that they are precious...

This is not about "waxing the pipe" on anyone but just recognizing the worth of certain people and honoring them because it is good. Even today, cheer on someone, thank someone, praise someone. Do not wait until people are gone to honor them.
