There are many things that multiply vanity : what advantage does man have ? Ecclesiastes 6:11

I ask the Lord for one thing that I long for : I would like to dwell all my life in the house of the Lord, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to admire his temple. Psalm 27. 4

A thing

I know one thing that makes me happy :

I was born blind, now I see !

What else would I want ? Christ is my Savior !

I love him and adore him, he is everything to me.

He offers me one thing, a good deal :

Moments of calm, all alone with him,

Drinking his words, finding his gaze...

This is where he trains me to bear fruit.

Oh ! do one thing, run straight to the point !

Forget my doubts, my fears, my past,

Fix my thoughts on him, on Jesus !

I have very little strength, but he wants to help me.

One more thing : to live every day

At home, in his temple, to see her beauty,

Discover his glories, taste his love...

It will be my quest, I will do it.

You can spend your life chasing after things that will have nothing left in heaven. Our God, through the pen of the apostle Paul, shows us another way : "Focus your thoughts on all that is true, all that is honorable, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is is worthy of being loved whatever deserves approval, which is synonymous with moral quality and what is worthy of praise. What you have learned, received and heard from me and what you have seen in me, put - in practice. And the God of peace will be with you" (Philippians 4, 8, 9).
