A thought guided by the Spirit

We have the thought of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2.16

The Bible says : "What the eye has not seen, what the ear has not heard, what has not ascended into the heart of men, God has prepared for those who l 'love. Now God has revealed it to us by his Spirit." (1 Corinthians 2: 9-10)

Do you love God ? If so, he will reveal his thoughts to you. What a privilege !

Paul writes : "And we speak of it not with the words which human wisdom teaches, but with those which the Holy Spirit teaches. Thus we use in spiritual language to express what is spiritual" (1 Corinthians 2:13)

Don't make the mistake of limiting "spiritual things" to prayer, Bible reading, and church activities. This promise applies to all areas of your life, including your family, finances, career, etc.

The Bible says, "We have the thought of Christ." If you are faced with a problem, you can pray, "Lord, help me to see things as you see them." If you have to make an important decision, pray, "Tell me what I do not know, teach me what you want me to learn to act according to your will and for the good of those around me."

Instead of limiting God to church and "spiritual pursuits," pray that He will help you in all areas of your life.

Advice for today

The Bible advises : "Stop, and know that I am God !" (Psalm 46.11). So you have to stand in front of him long enough for his thoughts to enter your mind. It will come, and you will never want to think otherwise.
