After the meeting

"Jesus said to him : Salvation has come into this house today, because he is also a son of Abraham. For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19: 9-10).

After the meeting, the "meal" (it will not always be a meal), you will see your friend again, but without necessarily knowing what he has experienced. Sometimes he will not tell you anything, and you will have to continue to show him love. Write the date of your meeting, what you told him, and pray with perseverance. "Make at all times by the Spirit all kinds of prayers and supplications. Watch this with complete perseverance..." (Ephesians 6:18). Do not forget your meeting, because if you forget it, it will show that you do not give importance to his salvation, and that you lack faith in the power of God. Is not God able to save him ?

Most likely, he will ask you questions. This will tell you that the door of his heart is open. If he has been saved, rejoice and take care of his spiritual growth, but if any elements block his salvation, preach the good news to him : "Repent and convert, that your sins may be blotted out. that refreshment may come from the Lord" (Acts 3:19).

The message of repentance is the true gospel, so do not be afraid to give it to him. During this meeting, he shared his heart with you (you have to let him talk about him and be interested in him, and not only talk about you by showing him "all the treasures" - 2 Kings 20:13), and the questions he will ask you will show you what prevents him from receiving salvation (I encourage you to read Matthew 19: 20-26 right now).
