Alone on his bed

"Seeing this, all murmured, and said : He went to lodge with a sinful man. But Zacchaeus, standing before the Lord, said to him : Behold, Lord, I give to the poor half of my goods, and if I have done something wrong to anyone, I will restore him fourfold." (Luke 19: 5-8).

When the sinner returns home, he will be alone in his bed. Even if he is married, his conscience will be between what he has heard and seen at home, his heart and the Holy Spirit who will work through your prayers. God will wait for him there, as he waited for David, Daniel, the king of Egypt, and many others. And who knows if God will not give him a dream, a vision or a revelation. God will visit him, because he has the capacity, and if his heart is open, he will realize his condition, he will realize that he is lost, that his sin will bring him to hell and then he may take the decision (he it is necessary !), like Zacchaeus, to say : "Behold, Lord, I give to the poor half of my goods, and if I have done something wrong to someone, I will give him back the quad." (Luke 19: 8). That night, on his bed, kneeling on the edge of his bed, or somewhere else, he will repent in tears and become a child of God. "Is there anything too extraordinary for the Lord ?" (Genesis 18:14, Jeremiah 32: 17,27). Perceive it, proclaim it, declare it !

It is also possible that it is he who invites you. "If you are at the table with a big one, pay attention to what is in front of you ! Put a knife in front of your throat, if you have too much appetite ! Do not covet his good food : it is deceptive food" (Proverbs 23: 1-3). At home, do not covet anything. Do not start thinking that you prefer his house, that you prefer his kitchen, or even that you prefer his napkins ! Do not covet anything. If you let him believe that he is richer than you, you will leave his house and, on his bed, he will say : "Is not this Babylon the great, which I built, as a royal residence, by the power of my strength and for the glory of my magnificence ?" (Daniel 4:30)
