"Amazing mother nature"

You are worthy our Lord and our God, you the Holy One, to receive the glory, the honor and the power, for you created all things and it is by your will that they were created and that they exist. Revelation 4.11

Sometimes I get pissed off. I was in finding these words to introduce a series of photos of landscapes, plants and animals. So it is nature our mother; she who would have created us! This is what Paul wrote to the Romans : although the perfections of God are visible in the bosom of nature as far as we want to see them, men did not glorify him as God and did not give him back. graces (Romans 1:21). They preferred to worship the creature and attribute everything to Mother Nature ! Of course it is "amazing", surprising, stunning... and wonderful. But would she really have made herself ? Like a house without an architect or builder, a car without a designer or worker, a watch without a watchmaker - to use the word of an embarrassed Voltaire ?

Others prefer to speak of chance, as if typing at random on a computer keyboard could one day give birth to a work of philosophy or science. You may want to convince yourself that God does not exist in order to live as you please without thinking of any accountability to anyone. But the obvious wonders of nature condemn us if we have refused to recognize God in them and to give thanks to him.

Let us not be foolish and fear his righteous anger.
