An eternal justice

To be broken is to abandon all hope of reaching heaven by his personal goodness. It is giving up all trust in our own efforts. It is to turn fully to the victory of the cross of Christ, to believe that He is the only way. Finally, it means trusting Him so that He gives us power through His Spirit to enable us to live up to His call for our lives.

We need to be broken and in humility to continue to walk in faith : "The Lord is near those who have broken hearts, and saves those who have spirit in dejection" (Psalms 34:18).

"For thus says the Most High, whose dwelling is eternal and whose name is holy : I dwell in high places and in holiness ; but I am with the contrite and humbled, that they may revive the humbled, that they may revive contrite hearts" (Isaiah 57:15).

No matter how I feel, Christ is my righteousness. Whatever doubts may come upon me, Christ is my righteousness. No matter what accusations the devil can bear me all day, I hold fast to this truth: God sees me right in Christ !

"Behold, I will look upon him, and on him that suffereth, and has a fallen spirit, upon him that fearth my word" (Isaiah 66: 2).

Where is the Lamb of God now ? He is in Heaven, seated on His throne, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Prince of Peace. One day all the religions of the world will kneel before Jesus and confess that He is Lord. "That every knee should bow and that every tongue should confess that He was and that He is the eternal Lamb of God" (Philippians 2: 10-11). Consider the Lamb of God !
