Are you exasperated ?

Job 42.4 – Hear me, and I will speak ; I will question you, and you will instruct me.

In our life, there are certain situations, even certain people, (even if we are supposed to love everyone) that exasperate us ! Do you ever get that feeling ? I invite you to reflect on these situations or these people for a few moments. That's it ? So tell me, what feelings does this stir up in your heart ?

If we make an honest observation, we will see that in the face of these situations or people, our hearts are sometimes filled with anger, bitterness, even hatred. These same negative feelings can cause us to scoff, to make fun of things. For others, they will act as if they saw nothing, heard nothing, they are going to hide ! Even if these feelings can be humanly justifiable, it is important at all times to look at God, His Word and the behavior that He would adopt.

First of all, I believe that our God is a God of balance and Jesus never hid his face from people or situations. He walked in the truth because He is the truth. Now, He is also the God of life. Now, bitterness, anger, resentment, pride, sufficiency, mockery, jealousy... the list is long, all these feelings produce a work of death in us which has only one objective, to destroy us. The enemy is very insidious and sometimes he will bring up these feelings in us without our being fully aware of them.

Also, if you have found yourself through these lines, I invite you to approach God, to deposit this person or this situation that exasperates you, to renounce all anger, bitterness... and to ask Him to do a work in your heart so that you have an adjusted outlook and behavior and that Dad shows you what He desires to teach you.
