Are you useful to God ?

We must seek to live in the spirit and to attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to the state of man made, to the measure of the perfect stature of Christ. So we will grow up and we will be really useful for God. Are you useful to God ? If God were to reward you for the way you managed your time and the talents he gave you during the last 7 days, would this reward be great ? Are you concretely and sincerely helpful to God ? You must become so, it is impossible for you to be useless to God. You must bear fruit, and a fruit that remains.

• A householder came out of his vineyard, and saw people who were in the place doing nothing. He employed them in his service.
• A king wanted to give an account to his servants. Instead of bringing him a profit, one of the servants owed him a large sum of money.
• A king married his son, but those who were invited did not want to come. Another went there, but without wedding clothes. He was rejected.
• A man sowed a good seed in his field, but during his absence the tares grew.
• A man received from his master a talent, so that he fructifies him. But he went to make a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.

There are many called, but few elected. In examining your life, are you really helpful to God, or have you missed out on what God wanted : to bear fruit ? "A man had two sons and asked them to work in his vineyard. The first answered him : I do not want. Then he repented, and he went. The other said to him : "I will, my lord. But he did not go" (Matthew 21: 28-30). In this new year, which of these sons do you want to be ? Are you ready to bear fruit more than ever ? Even today, commit yourself to God in prayer, and God will listen to you, God will transform you, God will fill you, and God will glory in your life as you have never experienced before.
