As in heaven !

Genesis 1.1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

There is one thing that we children of God must understand is that the celestial always comes before the earthly ! Even if the word "heavens" covers several things : the firmament or the spiritual realm among others, what happens in the supernatural comes before the natural. The first disobedience that occurred in the universe was the fall of Lucifer, then came the fall of man. The tabernacle of Moses was already built in heaven before it was built on earth. The apostle John was called to ascend into heaven to see future events that will take place on earth...

This is not the place here for a detailed Bible study, but I would like us to think about this principle. When we seek God's will for our life, we should seek the revelation of it in heaven ! Didn't Jesus say : "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). David also said : "On your book were all written the days which were destined for me, before any of them existed" (Psalm 139.16). Where is this book located ? In the heavens ! Many of the Old Testament men of God first experienced the redemption of the cross by revelation.

My beloved, it is not absurd to seek this spiritual revelation for our life. God has already called that which concerns us into existence. We have a deep need for the Church of Jesus Christ to become "prophetic" again ! That is, its members have full spiritual knowledge of their destiny, and that has to start with me! We are too often stuck in a materialistic daily life. We trust our five senses far too much and not enough the prophetic dimension of the Word. Come up here says the Spirit, I want to show you what your Lord expects from you, what He has planned for you. Our life has a value, an ultimate goal, that of being what God wants us to be. Why would we let the devil steal this from us ?

If we had to end this thought with a prayer, it would be this : “Lord, may your will for my life, which exists in heaven, become a reality in my life, here on earth !".
