As long as I live !

Psalm 104.33 - I will sing praise to the Lord as long as I live, I will praise my God as long as I exist.

I don't know what goes through your mind in the morning, but I often thank God for another day that I can live. As for you, all is not perfect but I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to hear about the Lord Jesus and especially to have had the grace to repent and to give my life to Him. Yes, it is a pure grace because ultimately the part of man, even in conversion, is very small.

Why me ? I confess that I have no answer to this question because I have no more merits than any other, but I was the object of the Lord's choice and it fills me with gratitude. Even if I disregarded the thousands of blessings He has bestowed upon me : a wonderful wife, shelter, sufficient daily food, health (even if there are minor ailments due to my age), hundreds of times He has intervened in difficult situations ; I would have something to sing about it and celebrate it because He made Himself known to me and He offered me His immeasurable salvation.

Millions of people every day believe in "luck" and flock to all kinds of games, hoping to hit the jackpot : how sad. My beloved, if you have met the Father through Jesus, you have won the jackpot. You are not missing anything, absolutely nothing ! Why allow discontent, frustration, and worry to rob you of the joy of being a "redeemed" ? Why let the devil steal your happiness from you through worries, hassles, bad thoughts or bad feelings ? Like the psalmist, let us resolve to sing and celebrate our God.
