At a cash of store

I went today to pick up a stool that we ordered from a shop. At the cash desk, the lady was buying a huge Buddha statue. When I left, I said to him : "Do you really like Buddhas ?" To which she replied that she had several at home. I told him : "Jesus said, I am the Prince of peace. Nobody is like Jesus, there is no one who fills with peace and joy like him. He is the only one who has risen."

"We are therefore ambassadors for Christ, as if God addressed his call through us. We beseech in the name of Christ : Be reconciled to God! For whoever has not known sin has made it become sin for us, that in him we may become righteous of God" (2 Corinthians 5: 20-21). When we speak of the Lord, we do not always know what to say and because of that, we often turn around the bush. We know the purpose : to proclaim the gospel (if at least that's our goal), but we do not always know how to do it. We find in this Bible passage a simple formula for bringing the gospel. It is a question of asking the men of Christ to be reconciled with him, while showing them that he has taken their place !

We all end up at the cash of a store, and we often see the same cashiers. We can easily make the difference in the day of this person who has so much products on his carpet that it will often have muscle problems ! We have the Holy Spirit ! We have the good news ! We can smile broadly and tell them that Jesus loves them. We can wish them good luck and thank them for their work. We can seek in the Spirit an appropriate word of grace : "Let no evil word come out of your mouth, but, if it be so, some good word, which may serve edification and communicate a grace to those who hear it" (Ephesians 4:29).
