At the hairdresser (continued)

I went back to the hair salon a month later. This time I went there for my daughter, who had not been there for a long time. I was excited about seeing Olivia again and being able to talk to her about the Lord a little more. But this time, her hairdresser was Helen, a really nice girl. I sat right next to Olivia who was wearing a lady, but I had a doubt if it was her. In general it does not happen to me when I talk to someone about the Lord. In fact, the more I talk about the Lord in depth, the easier it is for me to forget a face.

Helen was exceptionally kind and extroverted, but in a good way. I saw Olivia on the right, and Hélène on the left, and the contrast was striking : Olivia still had that face marked by a sadness of which I have not yet pierced the precise source. Olivia, however, greeted me first, and asked me how I was going. As she was combing a woman, I quickly answered her, but afterwards I regretted not having seized the opportunity to ask her if she had read our book of proverbs, which would have allowed to testify to the other hairdresser, and also to the client.

Hélène loves children very much. I have rarely seen my daughter talk so much with anyone at first. It is obvious that Helen knew that I had given Olivia a book, and that is probably why she asked me quickly why I had settled in Quebec. This never happens to me normally, but I answered that it was for the work, without saying rather that it was God who had called us there for EnseigneMoi ! What a shame ! I clearly lacked boldness, and I do not know why, but I also dishonored God by not expressing clearly that he was the source of my presence in Quebec. Olivia's client left and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to talk to her when she joined the hairdresser's reception, but I did not do it either. I sincerely repented.
