At the school of your child

There are people we meet every day or so. It may be a co-worker, but also a baker, a cashier, a neighbor or a car driver who is still in the same cork as us. It may also be a parent of a student, the same class or school as your child's.

Annabelle was one day in a room waiting for our daughter who had a dance class. She was chatting with the mother of another little girl who was in the same school as ours. Annabelle hesitated to tell him about Jesus, people sometimes finding it a little surreal. But this woman began to tell him about a spiritual experience she had lived. She told him, among other things, that she was dying one day, and that someone had prayed for her while she was unconscious, and that she woke up knowing that it was the effect of a somebody's prayer. In fact, while she was unconscious, she saw herself running in a forest, panicked and anxious, knowing that she was rushing straight into an abyss, but that she could do nothing to stop. It was a terrible experience. Annabelle took advantage of this open door to announce the Gospel. The woman was open to spiritual things, but not to making a clear decision.

Whenever Annabelle saw this woman at school, she acted as if they had never spoken. Our daughter speaks of Jesus in her classes, and dared to offer a Bible to one of her friends. This child was touched, and his mother too ! Annabelle is going to invite her soon to drink tea at home, and so tell him about Jesus.

We do not always know what ground is thirsty, and where the seed will be received, but what is certain is that there are in every school people who are thirsty to hear the good news of the Gospel. Brillions ! Eden and a friend had the opportunity to pray for a young child in a wheelchair, whose mother was Muslim. She was completely healed !
