Be confident !

"So do not give up your confidence, which brings great reward." Hebrews 10:35

Why be confident ? Because such an attitude is contagious ! If you show it day after day, those around you will not be spared. Do you know how many giant slayers were in Saul's army ? Not one ! As Goliath challenged the armies of God, Saul's soldiers trembled in fear in their corner. Yet David, who came only to bring food to his brothers, dared to face the situation, leaned on his faith and killed the giant. Once king, how many giant slayers can he count in the army of Israel ? Tens ! Listen : “It was then that Sibbecai the Hushatite killed Sippai, one of the descendants of the Rephaim, and the Philistines were humbled. There was still a battle against the Philistines. Elchanan, son of Jair, killed there Goliath's brother, Lachmi of Gath, who had a spear, the wood of which was the size of a cylinder of a loom. There was still a battle at Gath. There was a tall man there, who had six fingers on each hand and on each foot - 24 in all - and who was also a descendant of Rapha. He challenged Israel, and Jonathan son of Shimea, brother David, killed him. These men were descendants of Rapha who lived in Gath. They fell under the blows of David and his servants” (1 Chronicles 20. 4-8). Why were there no giant slayers in Saul's army ? Because the latter hadn't killed any giant himself ! But when David took command of the armies of Israel many giant slayers appeared because David had set an example by killing Goliath ! This proves the biblical principle that the best leader is the one who knows how to set an example. Be confident and gradually those around you, your family, your friends, your colleagues will also come to show a lot of confidence. Insurance has the unique gift of instilling confidence in the hearts of others ! Faith is a source of assurance, for "faith is the firm assurance of things hoped for, the demonstration of things not seen." (Hebrews 11. 1)
