The apostles died martyred. Someone may have said it was another time, a lot more cruel. Unfortunately, statistics show the opposite.

Even today, Christians are considered to be the most persecuted believers in the world. Two-thirds of the world's population lives in areas of the world where the Christian religion is most opposed.

Today, there are an estimated 200 million Christians in the world who suffer persecution in various forms : moral harassment, imprisonment, brainwashing, torture, execution...

At the top of the table of persecuting countries is North Korea. In this country, even the mere possession of the Bible exposes you to life imprisonment. Do you enjoy the freedom to proclaim your faith ?

In China, there are 100 million Christians. The Chinese government is trying in vain to oppose this exponential growth. He sets up so-called "official" churches to exercise control over the development of Christianity. However, authentic Christians prefer to gather in homes, making checks more difficult. Christians caught in the act of assembly risk internment in gulags, real rehabilitation centers designed to "subdue" the refractory.

In Vietnam, Communists still persecute the population. The "Montagnards" ethnic group is the one that suffers the strongest persecutions because the Christian faith develops strongly.

In Laos, Christians arrested by the police are forced to sign a statement in which they claim to deny Christianity. This is the only possibility for them to escape the prison.
