The Islamic extremist is behind massive anti-Christian persecution campaigns : in Africa, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Saudi Arabia, the Caucasus, Indonesia, the Maghreb, the Arabian Peninsula, the Gulf Persian...
In Saudi Arabia, where Koranic law has been passed, it is forbidden to possess the Bible on pain of prosecution and imprisonment. Same thing in Iran. Christians are forced to gather clandestinely in houses. The repression is lively !
In Sudan, for many years, Christians have been victims of genocide.
In Nigeria, Christians are also victims of Islam : thousands of deaths, thousands of orphans, thousands of widows.
In India, the untouchables are victims of violent persecution perpetrated by extremist Hindu parties. These Christians belong to a lower caste (Dalits). Currently, Indian states are adopting in turn a law called "anticonversion law". This law prohibits Indians from changing their religion. The Hindu World Council is working to convert to Hinduism 80,000 Christians living in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in India.
In Sri Lanka, Buddhist priests are far from Zen... They are violently persecuting Christian churches. Christians suffer many reprisals from the ultra-nationalist Buddhist party, the "Jathika Hela Urumaya". This party works by all means to make Buddhism a state religion.
In Bhutan, the persecution continues to increase. The 2,000 Christians are hunted down, or even driven out of their country.
Pray for persecuted Christians and take advantage of our freedom to proclaim Christ around us !
