"May Christ live in your hearts by faith. I ask that you be rooted and firmly established in love." Ephesians 3:17
Have you ever seen an old oak tree ? In most cases, the larger the tree, the deeper its roots. It is the same with believers. If you want to have a "great" faith, you must have deep roots.
Deep roots allow the tree to remain stable. You will become more and more stable as you stay more and more rooted in the love of God and His Word.
Continue to proclaim the Word of God. An unstable person is someone who constantly makes "come and go". One day she believes in the Word of God. The next day, she weeps and cries : "Oh no, what am I going to do ?".
The unstable person is not able to receive by faith. Stabilize your faith by remaining anchored in the Word of God.
An action for today
Stay constantly rooted in the Word of God, even when you do not feel the need for it. Continue to proclaim the Word of God. Your roots will grow in him and you will be spiritually stable.
