Bet on your future

In the hall of Nancy station, a poster promotes games of chance with the slogan “Bet on your future ! »

When it comes to our eternal destination, some people hesitate : “We'll see." But many people bet : "After death, everything is over !" But life is not a lottery. And this kind of bet is more like sinister Russian roulette.

Betting on the future is always risky, in the absence of a reliable contract. In his Word, God offers us a solid covenant, sealed by the sacrifice of Christ. So let us now rely on his sure promises and receive eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior !

There are dangers in gambling, says the poster in fine print. Betting on Jesus has no side effects ! Like Pascal, the Christian thinker, let's bet on believing God in a world that rejects him !

And you know what ? We can experience the truthfulness of biblical promises right now : Jesus satisfies the heart !
