Beyond the veil !

Hebrews 6.19 and 20 - This hope is for us like the anchor of our life. It is sure and solid, and penetrates through the curtain of the celestial temple into the inner sanctum. This is where Jesus entered before us and for us, because he became high priest forever in the tradition of Melchisedec.

Many of us are probably insecure. We would like to be steady and grounded in the Word of God, but we are so easily "troubled" and tottering. The verses that precede our reading come to assure us that God made the immutable oath that He would bless us and do us good.

It is this hope that should lead us to enter with sincere worship beyond the veil, that is, into the most holy place, where God stands in all his magnificence. We have an innate tendency to approach God only if we feel worthy. Some might even take offense if we dare to enter the Holy of Holies when they think we are “dirty”. Fortunately, we are no longer under the requirements of the Law because Jesus, our priest, preceded us with the offering of his own blood.

What I want to say this morning, dear brothers and sisters, is that no one can deprive you of access to God, even in the place of His Holiness. God has committed to bless you with unchanging oaths as they are spoken by Himself. This access is open to you because Jesus entered it, and where He is, He invites you to join Him. The devil and all the accusers he uses are lying to you, you can honor the Lord with glory, praise Him and worship Him because you are clothed in His righteousness and He sees you as pure as this child, so don't deprive yourself of it !
