Step 1 : Collaborate with the Holy Spirit : Ask the Lord to lead you to the people with whom he wants to put you in touch.

Step 2 : Get to know someone : It's really easy to make contact, sometimes just say : "Hello ! You are from the neighborhood ?...". It may seem a bit "down to earth", but let's not forget to keep our feet on the ground. We must not forget that we are first and foremost human beings. Our outlets have a grounded wire. We are the light of the world and we must keep this link with the earth.

Get to know the person by talking to her. Take a sincere interest in her. Start the conversation by practicing active listening. Try to identify the person's interests. Take an interest in his worries. You can establish a conversation based on the following points: work, leisure, sport, news, weather, family, school, children, health, home, garden, work , neighborhood, holidays, hobbies.

Step 3 : Unwrap the bonds of friendship by opening your door : Sometimes a tea, a coffee and some cupcakes are enough for good neighborhood relationships to weave together. With time, for example, you can invite a couple to share a barbecue. Avoid putting the dishes in the big ones. The relationship must remain natural, in a climate of conviviality and spontaneity. Do not get stuck because you will make your new friends uncomfortable. Do not attack any Bible verses, we do not fish for pomegranate ! Excessive zeal can drive souls away. You can give thanks simply and shortly before the meal. Around the table, the atmosphere is conducive to good discussions, sharing.
