We continue to share some essential steps that build good relations :
Step 4 : Cultivate a common interest : Pray to find out what activities might help develop this relationship. Some examples : Tea room, supermarket shopping, services, car transport, boardwalk, gardening activity, holidays, weekend break, cooking recipes, invitation to come see a TV show at home, invitation to come and take a refreshment, meal, sport, relaxation.
Step 5 : Be like "the good Samaritan" : People who trust us are quick to share their burdens, their suffering and their difficulties. Illness, mourning, divorce, tensions with children, unemployment, financial problems are real opportunities that allow us to offer spiritual guidance and share the gospel.
Remember that people make fun of everything you know until they feel like you love them. Try to help them : Call, advise, visit, listen, look for solutions, give service, take news, start giving "spiritual remedies".
If we want to see people come to Jesus to be saved, we must develop with them a true relationship of friendship. This is the only way to establish a true relationship of trust.
One of the key words of evangelism that works is friendship. When you have developed a solid relationship of trust with a person, it is good to pray for her to put her in contact with the Gospel according to the form best suited to her needs (Testimonial Lunches, prayer and study cells biblical, Picnic with the church, evangelistic campaigns, Christian sports tournaments, conferences, spiritual retreats, family weekends, Christian concerts, evangelical film screenings, theater, sketches, performances...).
