By visiting an apartment (continued)

I found another apartment at a bargain price. One Sunday, I went to visit after the church with 6 children, before returning home for the birthday of my daughter. Upon entering this apartment, I saw on the terrace an imposing man, with tattoos, and a young woman. Soon, I began to say that I wanted to rent the apartment for speakers, pastors, and the man told me that he too had given 2 lectures in colleges to nearly 300 young people, "to help them bring out the superman who is in them" ! I realized he was not well.

Asking him if I could pray for him, he told me he was constantly anxious, multiplying the anxiety attacks, that he was physically sick all over the place, etc... I explained to him that the positive thoughts could not change the hearts of people, and I told him the gospel.

Inviting the children to pray with me, I prayed for him simply, wondering what he could feel. Looking up, I was surprised to see tears running down her face. He was really crying, and his friend was crying too! She told me that I was coming to a special moment. Oh, God is so good ! The children were surprised to see that an apparently strong man could cry. We do not always know what a face is hiding. He showed me the huge tattoo on his back, representing "the demons of hell he was trying to conquer". Oh, victory is in Jesus Christ !

A month after this experience, I told myself that if I had not had a heart for the lost, I would have visited this apartment, then I would have left. Jesus would have entered this place (living in me), and he would have left without being able to speak to him, limited by my life. We are his mouth. We spend so many times beside people who are ready to receive Jesus, to receive a prayer, to receive our witness of faith, to receive a Bible verse, to receive encouragement. Will we do it ? Will we shut up, or talk ?
