Choose the right harvest !

What a man sows he will also reap. Galatians 6.7

All who take the sword will die by the sword. Matthew 26:52

For you will be judged as you would have been judged, and the measure you used will be used for you. Matthew 7.2

Some time ago, a cloud of yellow sand from the Sahara descended on the Jura massif. There were traces of Cesium-137, a residue of old French nuclear tests in the Sahara, in the 1960s.

The very dangerous result of these experiments made very far away and several decades ago, ended up returning to France in a boomerang, by the force of nature.

So is the human being. He thinks that his sin will not reach him, that he can do bad things in secret without anyone ever seeing him, or that the fruits of his bad deeds will never be for him.

God warns us otherwise. He speaks of a law : that of the seed and the harvest.

"Take refuge in salvation in Jesus Christ, give, sow and love widely !"

The good news is that :

. Jesus came to take your sin upon himself so that you do not reap the resulting bad wages but that you are spared, saved, rebuilt ! To do this, you just need to repent : confess your sin and accept God's forgiveness and grace to stop practicing sin.

. What is valid for the negative is also largely for the positive !

If you choose to :

- sow the good, you will reap the good

- to give with a large measure, you will receive with a large measure,

- to give thanks and to love, you will receive grace and love too.

It may not be immediately, but it is a reality !

So choose the good harvest : take refuge in salvation in Jesus Christ, give, sow and love widely !

A prayer for today

I place myself under the power of the cross which makes me a new creature capable of giving, of sowing and of loving. Thank you Jesus for giving me the good harvest you have planned for me !
