Collective hysteria

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your family. Acts 16:31

In June 1986, twenty-four hours before the start of the football world championship in Mexico City, an earthquake strongly shook the city. But we passed this event in silence, for fear of seeing foreign tourists give up, at the last moment, their reservation for this great sporting event.

Here is what we read the next day in a Mexican newspaper : "That date will go down in history. That day, the whole of Mexico City was seized with madness."

Because of the earthquake ? Not at all. Let's read the following : "We stopped work. The traffic stopped. For twenty hours, people were filled with hysterical joy : the Mexico football team was playing its first game in the world championship and it had triumphed. by beating Belgium."

"God speaks and we don't want to listen !"

Let us eat, drink and have fun. We know very well that tomorrow we will die, but we want to enjoy life.

God speaks and we don't want to listen ! This is how one wastes an existence of a few days and prepares for an eternity of misfortune.

We would not dare to speak to you thus, for fear of frightening you rightly, if we could not also show you the way to salvation : We can show you that way !

Let us look at what the Word of God tells us in Acts 16.31 : "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your family", or again, Proverb 1.24-28 and Proverb 1.33 :

"Since I am calling and you resist [...] Then they will call me and I will not answer, they will look for me, and they will not find me [...] He who listens to me will dwell in safety."

Make the good choice !

A choice for today

Open your life to the Lord, give it to him and you will have an eternity in the joy and peace of the Lord Jesus.
