Comes as you are

"When I say : "I'm going to fall," your love, Lord, sustains me, when my head is full of worries, you encourage me, and my heart is all happy." Psalm 94.18

We are all used to talking to ourselves, constantly. And you, what do you usually repeat yourself to yourself, in the secret of your inner dialogue ?

Even though you were not of this world, God loved you and already had wonderful plans for you.

Some of us think they are not enough. Not enough talented, not enough extroverts, not patient enough ... Not enough to be loved.

Perhaps you've been told this kind of talk for years. But God speaks much louder : "You have had enough value for my only son to die for you. You have enough value for my love to pursue you tirelessly."

God has always loved you. Even though you were not of this world, God loved you and already had wonderful plans for you.

My friend, you can approach God just as you are, no matter what state you are in ... Whether you put your troubles with difficulty at his feet, you bring him at arm's length or that you you throw them to him, know one thing : God receives them ! Come to him with your worries, because he cares for you. He has the solution to your problems, because he is the solution.

Take courage : your situation will change. Get up, give up your sorrow, let it fall for the joy of the Lord. She is your strength.

A prayer for today

Lord, thank you because you love me exactly as I am. I want to leave my fear and take your look. I know that being happy is not easy, it's a decision. Today I make the decision to confide and rejoice in you !
