"Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6.2
God loves us to live in peace and unity ; it is nice for him to see us love and serve others and to put their needs before ours.
The Bible says that we fulfill the law of Christ when we bear each other's burdens, pray for them, and support them in their difficulties.
Remember that in the kingdom of God, what you sow, you also reap.
There are many ways to help others carry their burdens. Just by giving a word or a smile of encouragement, you can lighten someone's burden. When you pray and intercede for those who are going through difficult times, you help them carry their burdens. Maybe there are still other ways to help those around you ?
Maybe you can pay someone's shopping or give him money at the gas station ? Each time you reach out to others and help them, it is as if you are helping God himself !
Remember that in the kingdom of God, what you sow, you also reap. God promises to return what you do for your neighbor. He will make sure that others reach out to you when you are in trouble, so that you can lead a life of victory and blessing every day of your life.
A prayer for today
Heavenly Father, I want to fulfill your law of love by serving and helping others. Show me how to be a blessing to those around me and help them carry their burdens. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
