"Then the Lord said : Shall I hide from Abraham what I am going to do ? Genesis 18:17

Impressive! God loved his friend Abraham so much that he did not want to hide his intentions from him. Does the Lord act in this way with anyone ? Absolutely not. Then would God have preferences ? The Bible teaches that Jaebets was more honored than his brothers. Incredible, right ? Abraham, Moses, Elisha and many others enjoyed special esteem from the Lord. Rather than be offended, let us try to understand why.

Ask yourself this question honestly : Do you love everyone with the same intensity ?

I was persuaded that God had the same respect for each person, in fact not. Certainly, God loves us all in an identical and unconditional way. However, those who ardently seek the presence of God will be more and more valued by him. The love and devotion they bring to God and the desire to be in constant communion with him, transform their relationship with God day after day. They pass from the status of man or woman redeemed by grace, to that, so privileged "of friends". They enter into the circle of God's intimates while others will deprive themselves of them. It is their personal approach to communion with God that gives them this privilege because God does not accept people but recognizes and values ​​his friends. Those who love him.

Ask yourself this question honestly : Do you love everyone with the same intensity ? Is it not reserved for your loved ones, those with whom you share moments of your life, confidences, burdens, with whom you open your heart ? In reality, we have more affinity with those who are interested in us. They become "intimate friends" or "our best friends" as they are close to us, understand and love us as we are.

Each person has equal access to God. However, those who seek God with all their heart will receive a higher honor. The love of God is the same, but His consideration is for those who honor Him.
