"Cry against it"

"The word of the LORD came to Jonah the son of Amittai : Arise, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry against it, for its wickedness has come up to me" (Jonah 1: 1- 2).

Many people do not understand the heart of God. They read the Old Testament in a haphazard way and discover amazing orders from God. It must be understood that it is the man who is wicked, and not God. Rebels to God will find all they can to destabilize the Christian and make him believe that his God is evil, but it is the wicked man, they are the wicked. They are wicked, rebellious and rebellious to God.

Jonah knew the heart of God, and he did not want to see God come back once more to his decision when he saw the sadness that would overwhelm Nineveh after this word of judgment. So Jonah fled the opposite of Nineveh. People sometimes say : "If God existed, then why would there be all this evil on earth ?". We made the mistake too much to side with the rebels when they ask us these kinds of questions. The whole creation proves to them that God exists. Even the breathing they used to ask you this question proves it. Everything proves the greatness, the glory, and the existence of God. God will do nothing unjust, and if some will go to hell, it is because they refused to submit to the Father of spirits. They are guilty. Of course, God wants to save them at any cost, it is his perfect will, but that does not erase their guilt. The crucified one who was next to Jesus declared with truth : "For us, it is only righteous, since we receive what deserved our deeds, but this one did not do any harm" (Luc 23 : 41). This man changed his attitude in the presence of Jesus. He recognized his sin and appealed to him. He was saved. Most people do not have any discernment about their condition, and they put themselves in the judge's shoes. They know that God exists, but their rebellion pushes them to accuse him. And yet, God does not stop loving them. And if they happened to repent at the last moment, God would forgive them, and God would save them.
