Cultivate thirst to hear his voice

"But when you pray, enter your room, close your door, and your Father who is there in the secret place will give it back to you." Matthew 6: 6

"He who has ears to hear hears." Matthew 13: 9

The power of the secret place does not lie in the fact that you submit your plans to God but in the fact that He reveals His plans to you.

Life does not really change when I talk to God ... But it changes radically when God speaks to me.

The art of hearing is one of the most fundamental keys of the Kingdom of God. You can not obey, act, or decree an attack against the devil without hearing.

One of the most important words of the Word of God is the word "hear". God speaks continually, but the problem is whether you hear what He says.

When you have actually heard his voice, your life begins to change. It is evident that He wishes to hear me ; But nothing is more important than to hear him, Him. Often we feel that true prayer is when God hears us. Our research is too focused on "does God hear me ?" And rarely on "do I hear God ?". And yet, one word from God helps to find peace.

"So faith comes from hearing, and what is heard comes from the word of Christ." Romans 10.17

The power of the secret place does not lie in the fact that you submit your plans to God but in the fact that He reveals His plans to you. Go into the secret place to find out what He wants you to do. This is how you will see your life change through your obedience to God's plan for you.

"But that the world may know that I love the Father, and that I act according to the order which the Father hath given me." John 14.31

Jesus modeled his lifestyle on what his Father was telling him. He received the voice of the Father in the secret place and acted accordingly. All the men to whom God spoke were those who knew how to spend time in His Presence. It is not a question of making tourism in the secret place, but of living there! Where are the men and women who say : "God said" ? They are those who know how to spend time in the secret place and hear God speak. To hear it is God's most precious gift to you in the secret place.

A prayer for today

Lord, I need to hear you, follow your instructions and know what you want from me. Thank you for waiting in the secret place, to accept me with so much love. Today, more than ever, I decide to cultivate the thirst to hear you.
