Day 13 : Israel

We continue in the aspect of 'Our Father' "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as in heaven."

We come to a point of prayer which, I firmly believe, should be on our list every day: Israel (See, among others, Ps 122: 6). We can love Israel, or not. To agree or not, but the fact remains that Israel is the chosen people of God, and also the clock of God. In any case, things must first take place in Israel before its Kingdom can come. God has given promises to Israel, which are exclusively and exclusively for Israel. He promised to bring him back from all the countries where he had driven them away because of their disobedience to the land he had given them 'forever'. He promised to conclude another 'covenant with them, different in the sense that different than the covenant of the Law.

We, as a Church, already enjoy this New Covenant, by which God Himself writes His laws in our hearts and minds. But he will do it with Israel too, in the last days. And these times are very close. The State of Israel is a fact, and since June 1967, all Jerusalem belongs to Israel, one of the main conditions for its Return. Because, his kingdom will come first to Jerusalem, and the King of kings will reign from Jerusalem! (See Zechariah 14). I will not get into the details again, since there are some very good books on this subject. You can also subscribe to the different news letters that exist. For example, an excellent book by Derek Prince: 'The destiny of Israel and the Church' (Derek Prince Ministries France, www.derekprince.fr) Will give you a very good overview.

Let us pray that God will blot out His grace and His Word upon them. Let us pray that as Joseph called his closest brethren, that he might be revealed unto them, Jesus should do the same, that his brethren may acknowledge him and repent. Let us also pray for the government, for wisdom. Let us pray for their protection, now that Israel is increasingly surrounded by enemies, who have only one objective: to scratch the map. Let us pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Let us also pray for those who call themselves 'Palestinians', who are brought up in an atmosphere of hatred, death and suppression by their own government. Especially children who, from a young age, learn only hatred against Israel, and the glorification of death. Let us pray that the eyes of other governments will open up to acknowledge the truth, and that their money will no longer be able to support terrorists, build tunnels, manufacture weapons ... Pray that governments take a firm stand against anti-Semitism , And that they align themselves with the will of God. Notably for our pay of France, which unfortunately has a very bad attitude towards Israel.

In the next few days, we continue with other aspects of the 'Our Father'.

"Lord, I pray for your people Israel. Bring them out of all the land to the land which you have chosen for them, Israel, according to your promise. Call them closest, and reveal themselves to them, so that they may know their 'old brother' and return to the New Covenant ! In the name of Jesus, amen !"
