Deal with your problems (2)

“Don't be afraid and don't be frightened ! Tomorrow go out to meet them and the Lord will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20.17

Let's pursue some additional principles to help us overcome our problems.

1- Let's stop worrying, let's rely on our faith. So often God wants us to understand that the situation is in His hands, not ours. Trying too hard to solve our problems ourselves, we succumb to fatigue and depression, when only God can solve them. It takes great courage and humility to bend your knees before Him and bring everything to His feet. Our nature wants to fight and dominate the circumstances. Paul explains : “Just as you received the Lord Jesus Christ, so walk in him” (Colossians 2:6). What did he mean exactly ? Simply this : just as you received Christ as your Savior without having done anything to obtain your salvation, continue to live your life according to the same principle, without wanting to bring anything of yourself into the equation ! It is a choice to be made from the very beginning of your walk by His side. Then exclaim : “Thank God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). God's will is never for you to run away from battle. He says : “Keep alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13). Trust Him and rely on God's promises in His Word, provided you know them !

2- Do not wait to see the resolution of our problems to begin to express our gratitude to Him. The story of King Jehoshaphat is extraordinary, because after having prayed and received God's answer, the king advanced with his army against the enemy, placing as a vanguard a choir of Levites singing the praise to God ! The result ? The enemy armies were plunged into total confusion and began to kill each other! His word for you today ? Have no fear, God will fight for you. Just praise Him !
