Did Jesus touch your heart ?

“I was eight when my brother was born, and ten when my parents separated. When my mother left with my little brother, that day my life changed, I felt completely rejected ! living with my grandparents, they were nice, but my whole adolescence was marked by a growing addiction to alcohol, cigarettes and drugs.

My grandmother became a Christian when I was 13 years old. She was trying to talk to me about God, but most of the time I didn't listen to her. However, words about love, about peace, about a better life remained in my head.

When I was 14, I wanted to quit drugs and change my life. But the more time passed the more I sank.

For over ten years, my grandmother called me regularly to invite me to attend Christian meetings, but I never went, until October 29, 2006. That day, I went in to attend. the first time in a church. The preacher spoke of Jesus who loved us so much that he agreed to die for us. These words reached a place that had never been touched before : my heart.

When he invited everyone to receive Jesus, I burst into tears and accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Savior. Jesus did a powerful job in me, a work of healing and liberation. Today I am sober and part of a team of Christians who visit prisoners and share the gospel with them."
