Discover this treasure in you !

“This treasure... comes from God.” 2 Corinthians 4. 7

Do you know that there is a treasure hidden inside you ? And it was God Himself who placed it there! It is the sum of the unique talents He has given you, plus the fire smoldering within your soul. Life may have thrown a lot of water on this fire, but God can revive it. Notice that this treasure “comes from God” and He takes great care of everything He owns ! He loves to encourage, nurture, protect and use what is his, for His greater glory. God is a knowledgeable “businessman”. He wants His investments to pay off for Him. Someone has said that the greatest treasure on earth lies neither in the heart of Kuwait's oil fields nor in the depths of South Africa's gold mines. The greatest riches lie hidden under the earth of our cemeteries. Buried under the tombstones and the marble of the mausoleums lie so many dreams that have never come true, so many songs that have never been sung, so many novels that have never been written, so many ideas that never came true. have never been shared, so many inventions that have never been pursued, so many plans that have never gone beyond the drawing board of the imagination, so many projects never accomplished. A tiny percentage of the population of our planet manages to discover and realize their true potential for success. Do you want to be part of this “elite” ? Ask yourself, “Who am I ? Why did God put me in this environment ? What is my potential for success ? How can I develop my talents for His glory alone ?” At the heart of these questions lies the secret of a consecrated and fulfilling life. If you are still in search of your reason for living, talk to God about it, because “everything was created by Him and for Him” (Colossians 1:16). Before your first stammering, before your first stumbling childish step, God’s plan for your life had been laid out. “But I made so many mistakes on the course !” you will say. Sure, but you'd be amazed at what God can do with the shreds of a shattered life !
