Divine intervention

Naoto Kan was Prime Minister of Japan when, in March 2011, following an earthquake, a nuclear disaster occurred in Fukushima. A few years later, he commented on this event :

"I believe God saved Japan at that time. The reactor 2 containment was threatening to explode like a balloon, because a safety valve couldn't open. The explosion would have thrown away enormous quantities of radioactive substances. Yet the pressure fell by a miracle. No one, until now, knows how this could have happened.

At Reactor 4, the fuel elements in the basin threatened to end up in the open air without water to lower the temperature, they would then have started to melt ; but the partition of the neighboring basin tore, allowing water to pass through."

God shows that he is there, intervening in a direct or indirect way, perhaps in an inexplicable way for men. He still desires their good. He seeks to reach their conscience through such events so that they open their hearts to his goodness which wants to save them.

God does not want men to be lost because of their sins. This is why he urges them to turn around, to repent, and to come to faith in the Lord Jesus.

The question is whether I take seriously the love of God, his warnings, his plan to save me from the path that leads to perdition.
