Do not bury hope

"I will keep hope, throughout my life of struggles, that my situation will change." Job 14.14

Often, we give up our dreams even before giving them a chance to come true on the pretext that perhaps we will not succeed. There is a French expression to qualify this : "Kill the chick in the shell", that is to say to kill the dream, the vision before even having tried, to have seen it born.

Do not be afraid of failure and even if you experience a disappointment, in the end it is not so bad because you garner experience.

You say : "I'm not sure I can create my business so I stop my efforts ... This woman I'm in love with, well, I'm not convinced I'm going to please him so I'm not going to please him declare my love for fear of being rejected ... I have a call on my life, dreams that are in me but I do not believe that I will be able to accomplish them so I put that in me to stop thinking about it ..." What a drama !

The enemy of our soul impels us to think of failure because he has understood that if we adopt this way of apprehending life, then it will be sad and sterile.

The birth of Jesus represented a new hope, the "ALL IS POSSIBLE" of God, which is why Herod had the children of the Savior's generation killed to annihilate hope. Several centuries before, Pharaoh killed all the male children of the generation of Moses. Why ? Was he really afraid that a liberator could be born ? I do not believe. He despised the Hebrews and regarded them as a sub-race. By doing so, Pharaoh was not trying to kill a little boy but rather to kill the hope of a better tomorrow. For a people, a person who no longer has a dream, who stops believing in it, lives without power and without power.

Get out of the enemy's net and instead of saying : "Is it 100% sure that I will succeed ?" do you say rather : "Is it 100% sure that it is impossible ?"

For example, is it 100% sure that you can not complete your call ? That this young woman of whom you are in love will tell you no ? That you can not start a business ? If the answer is no, then it is possible somewhere.

Do not be afraid of failure and even if you experience a disappointment, in the end it is not so bad because you garner experience.

"Better is the end of a thing than its beginning." Ecclesiastes 7.8

Winston Churchill, before being the British hero of the Second World War, was rejected by his political party on ideological disagreements from 1929 to 1939. Walt Disney was dismissed by the editor of a newspaper because 'he' lacked imagination. Charles Aznavour received the following advice from his teachers : "Stop singing, you have neither the voice nor the presence and culture to be a singer."

If you stifle the seed of your dream before it even comes out of the ground then you will live a sad and dull life. I can not promise you will get there but the thing I can tell you with conviction is that if you stop believing you will fail.

A reflection for today

Think about your dream and then ask yourself this question : "Is 100% sure that I will fail ?" If the answer is no, then get up and get going ...
