Do not neglect the potential of the seed

"We have here only ... five loaves and two fish." Matthew 14:17

The Lord always starts from the little you have. Any miracle begins with a seed, but the problem is that man neglects the potential of the seed.

Is there anything astonishing from the Lord ?

On several occasions the Lord addressed those who needed a miracle :

- To Moses, he asked : "What is in your hand ?" The latter replied : "A rod." With this staff, incredible miracles took place (Exodus 4.2).

To a widow he said : "What have you got at home ?" She replied : "Your servant has nothing at home but a pitcher of oil." From this vessel, hundreds of liters of oil arrived (2 Kings 4: 4).

What about the prophet Elijah, who possessed only a mantle, when he was before the river of the Jordan (1 Samuel 17:49) ?

The ingredients of the miracle are always present. However, Jesus can not multiply what you do not recognize as a potential that you must appreciate and entrust to Him.

Do not give God a list of your incapacities: "Lord, I can not do it, I have only a stick, a pitcher, a cloak, a little sling ..." God does not ask you for a catalog of your impossibilities , but rather to consider the seed by believing that it is the God of the impossible. Is there anything astonishing from the Lord ?

Now do not despise the seed any more. Realize that once placed in the hands of God, it will multiply until the day when it will bear its fruit. Yes, all production comes from a small seed planted. Who can measure the potential of an apple seed ? However, once planted it will give an apple tree, then hundreds of apples that will in turn thousands of apple trees, etc.

You thought that in life you had only seeds ? Give them to God, he will do the rest !

Lord, I no longer want to despise the seed but to believe that with the little I have, you can perform miracles. Amen.
