Do not resist Him !

“What is born of the flesh is flesh, what is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3. 6

If you want God's promises for your life to come true, don't rush or make hasty decisions. Otherwise you risk giving birth to another Ishmael ! Ishmael was born because Sarah tried to arrange events so as to avoid divine intervention. And the world is still suffering the consequences today ! First make sure your plans are born in the Spirit of God. Never try to save something that was born in your flesh. God said : “I will establish My covenant with Isaac” (Genesis 17:21). Isaac was the fruit of God's will, born at God's chosen time, in God's chosen way. Jesus said : “Flesh gives birth to flesh, while the Spirit gives birth to the Spirit.” Everything that is born in you is conceived either in your flesh or in your spirit. All kinds of people will try to convince you that they can help you fulfill your destiny, but God doesn't need them to bless you. He can very well do it on his own. When Satan attacks you, remind him of your spiritual birth and tell him that you did not begin this work within yourself and therefore you do not have to finish it. What God has planned to do, He will bring it to perfection. Today, if God wants to free you from your carnal appetites, your pride or any other obstacle in your way, do not block His way. Just as it is impossible to save a man who is struggling violently from drowning, so God can do nothing for you if you try to get out of it on your own. So give up. Trust Him more. The Bible says : “He who began this good work will make it perfect in the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). So relax and stop struggling against His will !
